Synthesis EquipmenT
Our chemistry lab is fully equipped for organic synthesis, providing a comprehensive environment for innovative research. With cutting-edge tools and technology, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of chemical discovery.

Electrocatalysis platform
In our lab, we are equipped with a diverse array of tools designed for electrocatalytic experiments, with a strong focus on electrochemical CO2 reduction. We aim to develop novel electrocatalysts to drive breakthroughs in sustainable carbon conversion.

photocatalysis platform
Our laboratory is equipped with a versatile photocatalysis setup designed for precise and reproducible light-driven experiments. The system integrates a 300 W PerfectLight Xenon lamp with AM 1.5G and UV cut filters to simulate solar irradiation, as well as a PLS-LED100C LED system providing monochromatic light sources from 365 to 940 nm. Both light sources are housed in a dedicated darkbox with a recirculating chiller for accurate temperature control.
Analytical Tools
In addition to the synthetic and electrochemical equipment, our lab is also equipped with a variety of advanced characterization tools, including FT-IR spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. These analytical instruments play a crucial role in elucidating the underlying mechanisms and enable us to achieve a deeper understanding of our materials and reactions, ultimately driving innovation and enhancing the accuracy of our research.

Common facilities
Beyond our in-house facilities, we also have access to advanced characterization equipment available in the State Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices and South China University of Technoloty, including nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), grazing-incidence X-Ray scattering (GIXS), etc. This access enhances our capabilities, allowing us to leverage a broader range of analytical techniques and support our research with additional high-quality data and insights.
